Incubation Partners

Center for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship, IIM - A

IIM Ahmedabad’s Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) helps entrepreneurs turn ideas into viable businesses. In partnership with our mentors, corporates, development agencies, IIMA community and investors, CIIE cultivates a rare breed of entrepreneurs by incubating, accelerating, mentoring and funding innovative start-ups. CIIE believes that entrepreneurship has an unmatched ability to bring about disruptive change in India and engages with ventures across technology and impact areas like energy, environment, agriculture, healthcare and affordable technology. CIIE believes it should operate in sectors and geographies where there are market failures and private support is not easy to find.

IC² Institute at The University of Texas, Austin

The IC² Institute is an interdisciplinary research unit of The University of Texas at Austin which works to advance the theory and practice of entrepreneurial wealth creation. It was founded in 1977 as a "think and do" tank to test the belief of its' founder, George Kozmetsky, that technological innovation can catalyze regional economic development through the active and directional collaboration among the university, government and private sectors. It has been instrumental in Austin's growth as an innovation and technology center and in the development of knowledge-based economies in over 35 countries. The IC² Institute joined IIGP in 2006 and has helped India's early-stage innovators bring their new technologies to market in India and around the world. For IIGP 2.0, IC² Institute would be providing incubation support through XLr8 Andhra Pradesh and Nexus at The American Center.
